Operations & Finance Coordinator (Data/CRM) Onsite - Full-time - Cape Town, South Africa

Counder connects visionary investors, top executives, and global industry leaders to collaborate on tomorrow’s most important opportunities. As our Operations & Finance Coordinator (Data/CRM), you’ll be the backbone that keeps our data clean, our finances tight, and our team moving fast. If you’re early in your career, love structure, spreadsheets/databases, and figuring out “there must be a faster way,” – then Counder is your playground.


Your Tasks

  • Reconcile expenses, invoices & payments; prepare month‑end summaries for leadership/accountant.
  • Maintain budget & cash‑flow trackers and manage supplier onboarding + payment schedules.
  • Own and maintain our Notion/CRM databases (structure, data hygiene, permissions).
  • Build lightweight automations (Zapier/Make/n8n + Notion API etc.) and simple dashboards.
  • Provide high‑quality admin support (scheduling, docs, follow‑ups) and coordinate team & VIP travel.
  • Capture and document key workflows/SOPs to enable faster onboarding and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in Cape Town (or willing to relocate) and able to work hybrid.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • No specific degree required — show us results and initiative over credentials.
  • Comfortable with occasional evenings/weekends around events.
  • Reliable laptop + fast internet access.

Your Profile

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of interacting with high-profile individuals and maintaining professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (lookups, queries, pivot tables).
  • Comfortable structuring and maintaining databases/CRMs (Notion, Airtable, HubSpot or similar).
  • Basic understanding of financial processes (budgeting, invoicing, reconciliation) and comfort working with numbers.
  • Discretion with sensitive information.
  • A keen interest in process improvement and technology, with an eye towards future automation.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script—or basic Python/SQL.
  • Familiarity with accounting tools (Xero/QuickBooks) and payment platforms.
  • Event or travel coordination experience.
  • You know Cape Town well (venues, suppliers, logistics).
  • Driver’s license and your own vehicle.
  • Openness to occasional travel for finance-related or operational engagements.

Events Coordinator Onsite - Full-time - Cape Town, South Africa

Join Counder as our Events Coordinator and shape the experiences that define our community of visionary investors and global partners. In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of premium events that bring our brand to life — from intimate dinner gatherings to flagship global experiences. Your eye for detail, hospitality mindset, and operational finesse will ensure every moment delivers value and leaves a lasting impression.


Your Tasks

  • Lead the operational coordination of Counder’s events, ensuring every detail reflects our standards of excellence.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and logistics to ensure seamless execution across local and international events.
  • Collaborate closely with our leadership team to align event strategy with business objectives and brand experience.
  • Curate unique dining and hospitality experiences that reflect our commitment to thoughtful, high-touch engagement, including our flagship Conference.
  • Coordinate all travel and accommodation for attendees, speakers, and team members, ensuring smooth, efficient journeys.
  • Maintain event documentation and debriefs, contributing to continuous improvement and future planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or experience design.
  • Familiarity with luxury or high-profile event environments.
  • Knowledge of Cape Town venues, suppliers, and hospitality providers.
  • Experience coordinating event logistics.

Your Profile

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, comfortable engaging with high-profile guests and partners.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating needs and solving problems on the fly.
  • Experience with event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in Docs/Spreadsheets, Notion and event planning tools, with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A passion for creating memorable experiences with a blend of creativity and precision.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle, as the role involves on-site support and vendor visits.
  • Openness to travel for events, including international activations.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in all settings.

Junior Software Developer (Web & Automation) Onsite - Full-time - Cape Town, South Africa

About the Role

Counder connects visionary investors, top executives, and global industry leaders to collaborate on tomorrow's most important opportunities. As our Junior Software Developer (Web & Automation), you'll help us build and automate the digital infrastructure that keeps us fast, lean, and ahead of the curve. You'll work directly with the CTO and operations team to turn ideas into elegant systems.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who's eager to ship fast, thrive in a startup environment, and grow their skills in a dynamic role. If you're excited about not just automating and building useful software but contributing to building a business, this is your spot.


Your Tasks

  • Build and maintain automations to support various internal business operations, such as, CRM automation, events management, and accounting process automation and reporting.
  • Contribute to the design and development of our website and user facing web applications.
  • Create and maintain workflow automations across systems using n8n
  • Collaborate with the team to scope features, prototype tools, and continuously improve processes.

Your Profile

  • Proficient in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, with a solid understanding of frontend practices and relational databases.
  • Curious, fast learner who's not afraid to figure things out as you go.
  • Understands the software development life cycle (SDLC), including version control, code reviews, testing, and version control.
  • Comfortable with Git and basic deployment processes.
  • Comfortable navigating APIs and building basic integrations.
  • Knows the difference between leveraging AI coding tools productively and vibe coding blindly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in Cape Town (or willing to relocate) and able to work hybrid.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Degree or diploma in Software Development, Computer Science, or a closely related field
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Reliable laptop + fast internet access.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building LLM based applications.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier.
  • Experience with CRM automation
  • Can demonstrate strong eye for design and UX
